The Rideable Now Access Fund

How Does It Work?

The fund is built by you, our members, through a monthly financial contribution, helping us turn “Rideable Someday” into “Rideable Now.” Adaptive mountain bikes are not just bikes, they are freedom machines. However, for many wannabe adaptive riders, the cost of purchasing a bike is impossible without support. The Rideable Now Access Fund exists to make the dream of owning an adaptive bike, a reality.

The Hard

Truth

A high-end adaptive mountain bike can cost £15,000 to £20,000. For someone who has already had their finances hit by injury or disability, that number is not “expensive”. It is a hard stop, a wall.

And the cruel bit is this: The great outdoors, mental health benefits, movement, mates, and confidence are all sitting on the other side of that wall.

Rideable Now can help people get over it - and not only benefit but flourish. For many, an adaptive mountain bike is a truly life changing purchase.

What the ACcess Fund

Actually Does

The Rideable Now ACCESS FUND.

It is designed for adaptive riders who are on the journey to purchasing a bike, they have done the research and some hard graft already (inc: research, planning, fundraising & saving). We award grants from our Access Fund to help with a significant portion of the purchase price.

Powered by membership

The Access Fund is built from the ground up, by our members. As the community grows, the fund grows with it, which means we can support more riders, more often, and with real impact.

Built for trust

We keep it transparent by sharing regular updates on the riders supported and the bikes you’ve helped unlock.

We do not hand cash to the applicant. We pay our grants directly to the manufacturer or distributor against an invoice (or agreed deposit).

Designed to unlock big wins

Our members pay £5 per month, funding the change. What do members get? In return they access exclusive discount codes, Monthly MTB Kit Giveaways and a chance to WIN a dream bike worth over £10k every other month.
