RideAble Now Official Rules

PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES CAREFULLY. These Official Rules are a binding contract between you and the Promoter. By entering any RideAble Now Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the Draw Specific Rules for the Promotion you enter.

No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to enter or win. All valid entries have an equal chance of winning, regardless of the method of entry.

These Official Rules may be updated from time to time. The version that applies is the version published on our Platforms at the time you enter. Changes will not apply to entries already submitted before the change takes effect.

1) The Promoter

2) The Platforms

The “Platforms” are the RideAble Now website and any official RideAble Now prize draw pages and entry forms we operate (including embedded forms).

Each prize draw, giveaway, or competition we run on the Platforms is a “Promotion” or “Prize Draw”.

3) How these Official Rules work

3.1 Draw Specific Rules

Every Promotion also has its own draw specific terms (the “Draw Specific Rules”) shown on, or linked from, the Promotion Page. These include the prize description, Entry Period, draw date, Eligible Territories (if different from the default), delivery limits, and postal receipt deadline.

If there is any conflict:

  1. the Promotion Page and Draw Specific Rules take priority

  2. then these Official Rules apply

3.2 Laws and availability

Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law. We may refuse entries that we reasonably believe are not permitted by law or that breach these Official Rules.

4) Eligibility

To enter and win, you must:

  1. Be 18 years or older at the time of entry and at the time of winner verification

  2. Be a legal resident of an Eligible Territory (see Section 5)

  3. Not be a Prohibited Person (see below)

  4. Provide accurate, complete information and comply with these Official Rules and the Draw Specific Rules

We may require proof of identity, age, and residency or address.

4.1 Prohibited Persons

Unless a Promotion Page states otherwise, the following may not enter or win:

  • employees, directors, officers, and contractors of RideAble Now (or any entity under common control with RideAble Now)

  • third parties directly involved in administering, fulfilling, or promoting the Promotion

  • employees, directors, officers of a brand partner providing the prize for that Promotion where a conflict of interest could reasonably arise

  • immediate family members (partner/spouse, parent, child, sibling) and household members of any of the above

5) Eligible Territories (widest option)

Unless a Promotion Page states otherwise, Promotions are open only to legal residents of the following territories (the “Eligible Territories”):

A) United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland)
B) Channel Islands and Isle of Man
C) Republic of Ireland
D) European Economic Area (EEA) (EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway)
E) Switzerland
F) Canada, excluding Québec
G) United States, excluding New York, Florida, and Rhode Island, and excluding all US territories and possessions (including Puerto Rico)

If you are not resident in an Eligible Territory, your entry is void.

Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law.

6) Entry Period and timekeeping

Each Promotion has a start date/time and end date/time (the “Entry Period”) shown on the Promotion Page. Only entries received during the Entry Period are valid, subject to any postal receipt deadline shown on the Promotion Page.

We are the official timekeeper for Promotions.

7) One entry per person, per Promotion

Unless a Promotion Page explicitly states otherwise, there is a strict limit of one (1) entry per person per Promotion, regardless of method of entry.

If we receive more than one entry from the same person for the same Promotion (including via different routes), only one entry will be treated as valid and all additional entries will be void. Where reasonably practicable, we will treat the first valid entry received during the Entry Period as the valid entry.

Entries are tied to a person, not only an email address. We may treat entries with matching identity details (for example name and address) as entries from the same person for the purposes of enforcing the one-entry rule.

8) How to enter

Unless stated otherwise in the Draw Specific Rules, each Promotion offers three entry routes. Each valid entry results in one (1) entry.

8.1 Member entry route (paid membership, not required)

If you have an active paid RideAble Now membership during the Entry Period, you receive one (1) entry into that Promotion.

Membership is not required to enter or win. Free entry routes are available for every Promotion.

8.2 Free postal entry route (no purchase necessary)

You may enter for free by post. Write or type clearly:

  • full legal name

  • full residential address (no PO boxes)

  • postcode

  • email address

  • phone number (optional)

  • the Promotion name and any Draw ID shown on the Promotion Page

Postal entries must be received by the postal receipt deadline shown on the Promotion Page. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

8.3 Free online entry route (no purchase necessary)

You may enter for free by completing the official Free Online Entry Form for the relevant Promotion during the Entry Period.

The Free Online Entry Form will require the information we need to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, and contact winners.

9) Entry restrictions and integrity

9.1 Accurate entries

Entries must be accurate, complete, and legible. Incomplete, inaccurate, corrupted, illegible, or late entries are void.

9.2 No automated entries

Robots, scripts, macros, automated devices, or any non-manual entry methods are prohibited. Any attempt to use automated entry methods may void entries and result in disqualification.

9.3 Technical issues

We are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or corrupted entries, or technical failures affecting online entry, including network or internet issues.

10) Winner selection, notification, and verification

10.1 Winner selection

Potential winners are selected at random from all valid entries received for that Promotion. The draw will occur on or after the end of the Entry Period on the date shown on the Promotion Page.

Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.

10.2 Winner notification

We will contact the potential winner using the email address provided at entry (and may also use other contact details if provided).

Unless stated otherwise on the Promotion Page, the potential winner must respond within 96 hours of notification.

10.3 Verification

A potential winner is only confirmed as a winner after we verify eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules and the Draw Specific Rules. We may require proof of identity, age, and residency or address.

If a potential winner fails verification, does not respond within the required timeframe, or is otherwise ineligible, they forfeit the prize and we may select an alternate winner.

11) Canada skill-testing question

If a potential winner is a resident of Canada, they must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance, before they are confirmed as the winner and awarded the prize.

If they fail, they will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

12) Prizes

Prizes are described on the Promotion Page and in the Draw Specific Rules.

12.1 Factory Builds

For Factory Builds, the prize is:

  • the exact bicycle featured in the Factory Build video and described on the Promotion Page

Important:

  • No sizing options are offered

  • No substitutions

  • No alternative prize

  • No cash alternative

Once the Factory Build has been delivered to the winner’s nominated UK delivery address, it becomes the winner’s property. The winner may use it, sell it, or otherwise deal with it as they choose, subject to applicable law.

12.2 Monthly MTB Kit Giveaways

For Monthly MTB Kit Giveaways, the prize is:

  • the MTB kit bundle listed on the Promotion Page for that month

The bundle varies each month based on what brand partners supply or offer. There is no set or guaranteed value. The winner receives the bundle as listed on the Promotion Page at the time the Entry Period closes.

If a specific item becomes unavailable after the Entry Period closes for reasons outside our control, we may replace that item with a reasonably comparable item. We will not deliberately reduce the overall prize.

12.3 General prize notes

  • Prizes are not transferable by the Promoter and are not redeemable for cash, unless the Promotion Page explicitly states otherwise.

  • Manufacturer warranties (if any) are provided by the manufacturer, not by us.

  • Winners are responsible for any costs not explicitly included on the Promotion Page.

13) Delivery, overseas winners, and costs

Unless the Promotion Page explicitly states otherwise, we deliver prizes to a UK address only.

If a winner resides outside the UK:

  • the winner must provide a UK delivery address for us to deliver to, and

  • any onward shipping, export or import, customs, duties, taxes, insurance, and all associated costs and risk are the sole responsibility of the winner

We are not responsible for onward shipping arrangements once delivery to the UK address has been completed.

14) Publicity and winners information

To show that Promotions are run fairly, we may publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place, for example the winner’s surname and region (such as county, state, or province).

Winners may object to some or all of this being published. If you object, contact us in writing. We will consider your request, but we may still be required to provide information to a regulator or authority on request.

A winners list may be requested after the winner announcement date shown on the Promotion Page by emailing martynashton@rideablenow.com.

15) General conditions

We may cancel, suspend, or modify a Promotion where fraud, technical failure, legal changes, or other factors beyond our reasonable control compromise fairness, integrity, or proper operation.

Any attempt to undermine the entry process, tamper with the Platforms, or disrupt the legitimate operation of a Promotion may result in disqualification and may be reported to relevant authorities.

16) Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a Promotion is limited to £100

17) Personal information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering a Promotion, you agree that we may contact you in connection with the Promotion (including winner notification and verification) in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

18) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
