3) Using our website

  1. You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt our service, or upload harmful content.

  2. Website content is provided for general information, community, and promotional purposes. We may update content at any time.

  3. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or policies.

4) Membership

4.1 Subscription and renewal

  1. Membership is a recurring monthly subscription that automatically renews each month until cancelled.

  2. Membership may include benefits such as member discount codes, member-only content, welcome gifts, and entry into Promotions, as described on our website from time to time.

4.2 Cancelling membership

  1. You can cancel your membership at any time via your account area on our website (or by emailing us if you cannot access your account).

  2. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds for partial months.

4.3 Cooling-off period (UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you typically have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you may be entitled to a refund subject to legal rules, and subject to any services already provided during that period.

Where membership includes immediate access to digital content, by accessing that content immediately after joining you agree to us starting supply right away. This can affect cooling-off rights for that digital content to the extent legally permitted.

4.4 Misuse, fraud, and cancellation by us

We may suspend or cancel membership where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, automated entry behaviour, chargeback abuse, or a serious breach of these Terms.

4.5 VAT and Gift Aid

Membership is a subscription with benefits. VAT may apply. Membership is not a Gift Aid donation.

4.6 Access Fund ring-fencing (net membership income)

We ring-fence 100 percent of net membership income for Access Fund grants. “Net membership income” means membership revenue after VAT, payment processing fees, and reasonable direct platform operating costs (for example website hosting, member platform fees, email service costs, and competition administration systems).

5) Promotions, general rules

These rules apply to all Promotions unless the relevant Promotion Page states otherwise.

5.1 No purchase necessary

Where a Promotion includes a paid entry route (for example automatic entry via membership), you can also enter for free using a Free Entry Route described in Section 6.

5.2 Significant conditions (always shown on the Promotion Page)

Each Promotion Page will clearly state, as a minimum:

  • how to enter (including free entry),

  • Closing Date and time (UK time),

  • draw or selection date,

  • the nature and number of prizes,

  • eligibility and any restrictions (age, geography, shipping, etc).

5.3 Eligibility

Unless stated otherwise on a Promotion Page:

  1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the time of entry. We may request proof of age.

  2. Entries must be made by an individual. Automated entries, bot entries, and bulk entries are not permitted.

  3. You must provide accurate, complete entry information. If details are false, incomplete, or illegible, the entry may be invalid.

5.4 Entry limits

Unless stated otherwise on the Promotion Page, there is one entry per person per Promotion across all entry routes (membership, free online, free postal). Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

5.5 Same draw, same odds

We do not distinguish between valid paid and valid free entries. All valid entries go into the same draw pool and have the same odds of winning.

5.6 Winner selection and draw integrity

  1. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.

  2. Selection will be carried out either by an independent person (or under independent supervision) or by a verifiably random computer process.

  3. We will keep a reasonable record of the draw and outcome.

5.7 Winner notification and claim window

  1. Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry.

  2. Unless stated otherwise on the Promotion Page, winners must respond within 7 days of notification.

  3. If a winner does not respond in time, is not eligible, or cannot accept the prize, we may select an alternative winner.

5.8 Prizes and fulfilment

  1. Prizes are as described on the Promotion Page.

  2. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may offer a reasonable equivalent or a cash alternative where appropriate.

  3. We will not charge a fee to claim a prize.

  4. Shipping limits, lead times, build timelines, and any winner requirements (for example sizing details) will be stated on the Promotion Page.

5.9 Winner publicity and proof of a valid award

To demonstrate that Promotions are administered fairly, we must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place.

For major prizes, we will ordinarily publish or make available the winner’s surname and county (or equivalent region if outside the UK). Where relevant, we may also make available the winning entry reference.

At or before the time of entry, entrants will be informed of this and given the opportunity to object to publication or to reduce the amount of information published or made available. If you object, we will consider your request, but we may still be required to provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (or other regulator) on request.

6) Free entry routes

Free entry information will be displayed clearly on each Promotion Page, alongside the paid route.

6.1 Free online entry

You can enter eligible Promotions for free using our free online entry route.

Free online entry:

To enter, you must provide:

  • full name

  • date of birth (18+)

  • email address

  • phone number

  • full postal address

  • which Promotion you are entering (for example “Monthly MTB Kit Giveaway, January 2026”)

Deadline: Free online entries must be submitted by the Closing Date and time shown on the Promotion Page (UK time).

Anti-bot and verification: To protect fairness, we may use verification steps such as email verification, CAPTCHA, rate limiting, duplicate detection, and fraud screening. If we reasonably suspect an entry is automated or fraudulent, we may treat it as invalid.

Marketing is optional: You do not need to opt into marketing to enter.

6.2 Free postal entry (alternative route)

You can also enter by post using ordinary first or second class post only (no special delivery or recorded services).

Send a letter including:

  • full name

  • date of birth (18+)

  • email address

  • phone number

  • full postal address

  • which Promotion you are entering (including month or draw reference if shown)

Send to:
Rideable Now (Free Entry)

Margam
Port Talbot
SA13 2TS
United Kingdom

Postal timing rules:

  • must be postmarked on or before the Closing Date shown on the Promotion Page, and

  • received by us within 10 calendar days of the Closing Date.

We will set Promotion windows so there is a realistic opportunity for postal entries to be received and included.

7) Promotion-specific terms

7.1 Monthly MTB Kit Giveaway

  1. What it is: a monthly prize draw for mountain bike kit from participating partners (listed on the Promotion Page).

  2. How to enter: via active membership (automatic entry) or via free online entry or free postal entry.

  3. Closing Date and draw date: shown on the Promotion Page.

  4. Shipping: shipping region and limitations will be shown on the Promotion Page. Where winners are outside the UK, import duties and local taxes may apply and are the winner’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.

7.2 Factory Builds prize draws

  1. What it is: a prize draw where a winner can win a high-value mountain bike build (details and value shown on the Promotion Page).

  2. How to enter: via active membership (automatic entry) or via free online entry or free postal entry.

  3. Build process: the winner may need to provide sizing and fit details and make reasonable selections within published build constraints.

  4. Lead times: build and delivery timelines vary and will be shown on the Promotion Page.

  5. International winners and shipping practicality: For winners located outside the UK (or where shipping is logistically impractical, restricted, or disproportionately costly, including where lithium batteries or hazardous goods rules apply), we reserve the right to offer a cash alternative or voucher of equivalent value instead of shipping the physical bike.

8) Entry logging and audit trail

To protect fairness and transparency:

  1. We will log all valid entries (membership, free online, free postal) into one combined entry list for each Promotion.

  2. We will record the Promotion name, entry route, entry timestamp (or receipt date for post), and winner record.

  3. We will retain reasonable evidence of winner selection to demonstrate randomness and compliance.

9) Rideable Now Access Fund terms

  1. Purpose: The Access Fund exists to help eligible riders bridge a funding gap towards an adaptive mountain bike purchase.

  2. No cash to applicants: We do not pay cash to individuals. If approved, grants are paid directly to an approved manufacturer or distributor against an invoice (or agreed deposit).

  3. Quote required: A formal quote from a manufacturer or distributor is required.

  4. Evidence of progress: Applicants must show evidence of progress towards the purchase (saving, fundraising, crowdfunding, or confirmed support).

  5. Typical grant size: Grant sizes vary depending on available funds and need. Any typical ranges or caps we publish are guidance and may change over time.

  6. Retrospective purchases: We normally do not fund bikes already purchased.

  7. Second-hand bikes: These may be considered only where the purchase can be made through an approved supplier with a suitable invoice. Private cash purchases are not eligible.

  8. Shipping, import duty, and taxes: Unless agreed otherwise in writing, these are the applicant’s responsibility.

  9. Decision process: Applications are reviewed by a grant committee. Conflicts of interest are managed by requiring connected people to step out of decisions.

  10. No guarantee: Applying does not guarantee a grant. Decisions depend on eligibility and available funds.

10) Privacy and data protection

  1. We use personal data to administer membership, Promotions (including free entries), and Access Fund applications, including contacting winners and fulfilling prizes.

  2. We will handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy:

Marketing preferences are optional and not a condition of entry.

11) Intellectual property

All website content, brand assets, and media (unless stated otherwise) are owned by or licensed to Rideable Now. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

12) Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  2. Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses.

  3. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example courier disruption, supplier delays, or force majeure).

13) Changes to these Terms and Promotions

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date. The Promotion Page forms part of these Terms, and where there is a conflict, the Promotion Page will take priority for that Promotion’s specifics.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
